Oh, so many reasons! But don't take our word for it. Explore what you'll be capable of at the end of the program if you give it your all, of course.
Get a grasp on the fundamentals of how your brain takes in and processes information, stores it (memory) and how we often work against the system.
Once you have an understanding of the operational system, you’ll be able to understand and apply knowledge and methods to learn better with more strategy and intention.
Be able to look at the way you design learning through the lens of the brain and the operating system. This is where you’ll learn to integrate function and theory and become more aware of the advantages and limitations you have when designing learning.
Our facilitators are not only very experienced in the topics they're teaching, but also extremely cool. This program's facilitators are not exception.
Lauren Waldman, Founder of Learning Pirate Inc. has one true purpose in this world, to evolve our abilities to learn, design learning and be better overall human beings. Triple certified in neuroscience (HarvardX (Foundations), Duke (Medical Neuroscience), John Hopkins (Neuroimaging), with designations in learning design and adult learning, Lauren has designed and implemented learning programs for ambitious organizational change initiatives, national sales and marketing launches, and large scale onboarding programs. She has worked with some of the most prominent industries (banking, hospitality, government IT, r etail) and organizations (Allstate, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, TCS, Tokyo Disney Land, KPMG), increasing employees' abilities to learn, transfer and produce results with greater efficiency and strategy.
While new information will definitely be useful, the most powerful learning will come from making sense of it for your context, actually applying it, and receiving feedback from facilitators & peers.

Follow Lauren's journey from a conventional learning pro to a neuroscience enthusiast. This article explores the memory triad, common learning misconceptions, and actionable learning design practices.
Not all experiences are for everyone. Your previous background and current context are extremely important for the success of your learning adventure, so make sure you're ready for it.
Anyone who is involved in learning and creating learning in any type of setting, whether that’s organizational or academic.
Anyone who is looking to understand how to better learn while also learning how we operate as fundamental human beings.
This is a very hands-on and practical learning experience, so we welcome curious and eager individuals who are ready to get their hands dirty and experiment together with the group.
