In L&D, it can be challenging to pinpoint the behaviors that truly need to change and to find solutions that go beyond standard training. This program explores how behavioral science can help you identify key behaviors, overcome barriers, and design effective strategies for lasting impact.

Once we've identified the behaviors we want to target, the next step, contrary to popular practice, is not to jump into defining solutions. In this session we will take the time to understand the broader context, diagnose behavioral barriers and enablers, to create more targeted interventions and strategies.

The course was really well structure and because of the overall format I felt that I had enough time to ask questions, I didn’t feel rushed when I did. The expertise of the facilitators was amazing and I was positively surprised by the amount of interaction in our private slack group, and how Sam and Roos answered all our questions and gave us feedback quickly.

Curious to learn what's true and what's not when it comes to popular behavioral theories? Play our game!
The experience with the course was overall very good. Behavioral Science is such a relevant topic and the facilitators brought great insights. They also created a really open and good environment, and I liked how they managed the home assignments in the Miro board, and that we could always ask questions and they would be answered by Sam or Roos.

Everything was super interesting! I had just some basic knowledge about behavioral science but it was amazing to learn from Sam and Roos who are experts in the field. I particularly loved the Drivers and Barries of Behavior Change part, it was a great exercise that I’m actually going to use in a workshop that I’m preparing for my managers.

How do you pick facilitators?
How do you pick facilitators?
The facilitators of our programs are experienced professionals who not only bring substantial real-world practice to the table but also deeply understand our mission at Offbeat. They have been carefully selected based on their ability to align with our values, methodologies, and learning approach.
We believe that effective learning comes from facilitators who can bring theory to life with practical insights and who can cultivate an engaging, supportive environment. This understanding guides our choice of facilitators, ensuring you have access to mentors who are not just experts in their fields, but also adept at fostering a culture of collaborative, applied learning.
Is there an opportunity to actually practice what we're learning during the program?
Is there an opportunity to actually practice during the program?
Yes! One of the first things you'll need to do is submit a real-world assignment. Together with our facilitators, we'll choose the 2-3 assignments that are the most applicable to the program, and create working groups around them.
Every session will have a dedicated space where working groups will reflect and solve exercises together to complete their chosen assignments.
Yet, as you well know, practice doesn't stop here, and you will need to keep on applying what you've learned in your work, to see even more skill improvement.
