The unique value of this session was not its engaging, fun, and dynamic format, but its structured approach that guided us from reflection to evaluation and then to action planning. This methodical, rule-based process ensured objectivity and fairness, allowing us to develop a clear understanding of our roles and the expectations associated with them.

Who’s not a fit?

You have NO prior experience in designing learning experiences, programs or courses.

You expect a sage on the stage to deliver a monologue. This course is highly collaborative, and we expect everyone to participate, interact and engage deeply.

You cannot commit 4-5 hours per week or attend the live workshops.

nikita

I’ve worked on aspects of learning experience design across my work, however, the workshop brings together the key concepts and frameworks in a very structured manner and helped me learn and think about various elements.

How do you pick facilitators?

How do you pick facilitators?

The facilitators of our programs are experienced professionals who not only bring substantial real-world practice to the table but also deeply understand our mission at Offbeat. They have been carefully selected based on their ability to align with our values, methodologies, and learning approach.

We believe that effective learning comes from facilitators who can bring theory to life with practical insights and who can cultivate an engaging, supportive environment. This understanding guides our choice of facilitators, ensuring you have access to mentors who are not just experts in their fields, but also adept at fostering a culture of collaborative, applied learning.

We think that years of experience are less important. Another question you can ask yourself is: "Is it clear to me what I need to learn next to improve my work as an LXD?"

If your answer is yes, that's very good, we don't think you'll benefit tremendously from the program, but if your next steps are unclear, join us!

Is the course designed for people who are building online experiences or offline?

Is the course designed for people who are building online experiences or offline?

While there are some particularities, the skills required from an LxD who is building online or offline learning experiences largely remain the same. We will have the space for sense-making so that you can understand how different skills might apply in different contexts.
